Answering Opposition quesiions on the order paper, the Governmeni gave the following information: e The road which is designated as the Ferguson Highway commences at Severn Bridge, on the south boundary of the District of Muskoka, and continues northerly to the Town of Cochranc. a distance of 408 miles. Portions of this road, through the Districts of Muskoka snd Parry Sound, have been in exis-- tence for at least 50 or 60 years; por-- tions in the District of Timiskaming were made from 20 to 30 years ago. and portions in the Cochrane district about 15 years ago, up to the standards that were then required. Much of this road has been reconstructed, and new sections where no sections existed before have been built since the year 1925, and up to date since that time the expendi-- ture unon this highway has been $3,-- 689,617.70.
