An opening for the dissussion will be provided when Hon. J. R. Cooke, Hydro Commissioner, will move second reading of the Rural Power District Loans Act. Yesterday was a quict day in the House, with only seven or eight bills advanced another stage toward legis-- lative enactment, to keep the House sitting. An act to amend the Voters' List Act, which stood in the name of Wil-- liam Newman (Liberal, North Victoria) was withdrawn by its sponsor because it was out of order.
