House in 30--Minute Windup, Life Extended for One Year The Ontario Legislature prorogued yesterday after a 30--minute session in which third reading was given to the Extension Bill to prolong the life of the House one year. Lieuten-- ant--Governor Albert Matthews gave Royal Assent to the legistation adopted during the session. Several important pieces of legis-- lation were approved during the cession. The Collective Bargaining Bill for labor aroused the keenest interest. The increase in mothers' allowances, the protection afforded members of the armed forces and their dependents against mortgage foreclosure, the setting up of a cancer foundation, the renewal of farm subsidies, creation of machin-- ery for a social secuirty and reha-- bilitation committee, provision for state scholarships and numerous other amendments were adopted by the House. Following prorogation -- Premier Conant tendered a luncheon to Lib-- eral members of the House.
