House in 30--Minute Windup, Life Extended for One Year The Ontario Legislature prorogued yesterday after a 30--minute session in which third reading was given to the Extension Bill to prolong the life of the House one year. Lieuten-- ant--Governor Albert Matthews gave Royal Assent to the legistation adopted during the session. Several important pieces of legis-- lation were approved during the cession.
