I Addition Unlikely I The creation of the new depart- ment, of planning and development is not likely to entail the appoint- ment of an addition to the Drew Cabinet, according to Queen's Park information yesterday. The bill setting up the department will be introduced next week, along with a bill to amend the Executive Coun- cil Act. The latter amendment simply paves the way for the addi- tional portfolio. It is believed one of the present members of the Drew Cabinet will assume direction of the department of planning and development. Hydro Chairman G. H. Challies, Minister without Portfolio, and Highways Minister George Doucett have been mentioned in this connection.
