Net Operat- ing Profits $982,963 Provincial Treasurer Monteith, replying to a query in the Legis- lature yesterday afternoon, stated that $999.065 was the total revenue received in the last fiscal year by the Government from the mining lands of Northern Ontario. The total revenue received from the lands and forests of Northern’ On- tario, other than mining lands, was $4,016,800. The total net operating profits of the Timiskaming & North- ern Ontario Railway in the last fiscal year amounted to $982,963. Premier Ferguson, answering an- other query, stated that 4.18 miles of rural Hydro lines had been built in the County of Dundas. The cost of construction was $6,799. Nine ‘farmers were served by these lines. The cost per horsepower was $46.50 at Chesterville, and 8 cents per kilowatt hour.
