Give us a call at 476-4130 and we can reserve a computer for you and let you know when the li- brary is quietest. 11. Groups are invited to use the library, and may be dated outside of regular open hours. We materials at the library, including new t non-fiction books on politics, health and fitness, cookbooks, and more. There are magazines and e- books available too. 2. Borrow from over 1400 DVD titles, from documentaries to front running movies, plus you can keep them for one week or longer. 3. Library membership is free and there are no fines for overdue materials! 4. Learn new skills. The library offers free workshops on a variety of subjects. For example, we recently offered a needlefelting “crafternoon” and held yoga classes in the spring of 2011. We welcome suggestions for workshops or classes, so let us know if there is something you would like to see offered or if you have a skill or talent to share. 5. Get free computer skills training. Whether you’re an absolute beginner or have a specific need such as learning to download photos from your cam- era, we can help. We provide both small group in- struction and one-on-one sessions. We can help with e-readers too. Access free computers in the library and high-speed Internet for your laptop. The Wi-Fi con- nection is even available from the exterior of the branch when the library is closed. 7. Join the afternoon or evening book club, or start your own club. You can order multiple copies of your clubs book choices and if we do not have enough copies in our system, we will order them for you. 8. Borrow almost any book title you want through our interlibrary loan service. In addition to the approximately 80,000 items in the County of Prince Edward Public Library system, your library card allows you access to hundreds of thousands of books from libraries across the province through in- terlibrary loan. Want to practice your French? A lively group of intermediate French speakers meets each Tuesday are also interested in hosting and starting new group activities such as the knitting group being organized for February.
