We may be from the county but we're not hicks/ We go by the name of "The Black Crick Chicks". Well "The Black Crick Chicks" are at it again. They will hold their 3rd annual fundraising drive next door to the Black River Cheese Company on Saturday, May 17th from 10:00 am till 2:00 pm. Vic- toria Day Weekend. Bake sale, pennies/beer/wine/ liquor bottles drive, BBQ. Cancer victim remem- brance luminaries will also be available. Donations of baked goods; cookies, bread, pies, tarts, muffins can be delivered on the morning of the fundraiser and would be very much appreci- ated. Donations by cash or cheque will also be ac- cepted and receipts can be provided. All proceeds from the event go to the Black Crick Chicks Relay for Life team in support of the Cancer Society. This year, Relay for Life is being held on Fri- day, June 6th at 7:00 p.m. at the Picton Fairgrounds. You can come to the arena for the opening ceremo- nies at 7:00 p.m., the Luminary Ceremony at 10:00 p.m. or the closing ceremony from 6:30 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. on Saturday.
