Milford Fair News The annual Milford fall fair is quickly approaching! This year we'll be shining the spotlight on our rural roots - the foundation of what makes South Marysburgh the envy of Prince Edward County! Love the Milford Fair? Then why not volunteer a few hours to help us put it together! We'll need people to donate food and sell it, to assemble things and take things down, run events, organize the parade, sell tickets, run games & skills competitions, help with exhibits, locate lost parents and/or children, shoo bees away and just generally pitch in. You get the idea. And have we mentioned the compensation? It's fabulous: you'll have fun while earning the appreciation of the fair board and fair visitors, and you'll go home with the satisfaction of knowing you helped maintain a 72-year-old local tradition people will talk about long after they leave the fairgrounds. Specific volunteer contacts will be listed in next month's Mirror, but if this little blurb has whet your appetite to pick up the phone, please contact the Fair Board president, Valencia Logan at 613.813.9977.
