St. Philip's Church: Doubters, Seekers, Newcomers Follow The South Marysburgh Mirror on Facebook Do you ever wonder about church, what people get out of it? Or do you ever wonder if you are missing something in your life? Or maybe you have doubts and aren't sure if you would be welcome at church. Or perhaps you've never been to church and would like to, but are unsure about it. Rest assured that doubters, skep(cid:415)cs, seekers, and beginners are all welcome. It's true that many people go to church because they are believers, but some go because they believe in love and that's what the church upholds; and some go because they like to sing; and some go because church reminds them that there is more to life than meets the eye. Some people go to church because it's a quiet hour out of their busy lives; some go to be inspired and upli(cid:332)ed or even challenged; and some go to be part of a caring community. joy, peace, pa(cid:415)ence, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, and gentleness are the benefits of being inspired by the Gospel. St. Philip's Church welcomes everyone. We will be having a Welcoming Sunday and Open House on November 25. Sunday worship starts at 11 o'clock or join us a(cid:332)erwards at 12:15 in the church hall for a light lunch and coffee. We hope you come!
