Our Wednesday, June 13th meeting was held in South Bay United Church Hall at 1:30 pm as usual. President Sandra Emlaw read a passage telling of the many feelings a woman has after she becomes a Mom that she never had before. Our theme hymn, pur- pose and Lord's prayer were recited in unison. Irene Robb's devotional was based on Romans 8, verse 9 con- ceming our spirit. We should take time to be quiet, let the holy spirit enter us so our souls may catch up. Thirteen members answered roll call by telling what each one does to lift her spirit. Responses were varied - music, spinning, walking, gardening, reading, mowing the lawn, listening to nature. Thirteen sick calls were made. Secretary Carolyn Barnes refreshed our memories with the May minutes, received as read. Treasurer Joyce Minaker reported our finances are healthy. She now has fifteen candidates for attending Camp Quin-Mo-Lac in August and our UCW are pre- pared to increase our financial assistance if required. Thank you cards were received from the bus load from Moscow for catering their lunch and also from the Brownies for our donation. Several ladies will accept the invitation extended by the Cherry Valley UCW on Tuesday, June 19 at 2pm. Our UCW was asked if they would like to participate in Harvest in the County at Milford on Tuesday August 21, Continued on page 4 i ! a YI bees IRENE ROBB erp: Reflexology Aromatherapy Massage and Therapeutic Touch.
