Shot on location in Canada, the US, France, and Switzerland, the film explores the devastating impacts that the increasingly toxic stew of sludge can have on soil, water uman health. Strong farmer resistance has led to ana- tional ban in Switzerland, and may soon h the ers Union, Canadian Organic Growers, the Safe Water Group, and concerned individuals recently launched a cam- paign to ban this high-risk practice from the land and water that sustain our health and livelihoods. In a county that promotes itself as a pristine tourist destination, as well as a source of quality food and wine, there is no place for sludge. 2 PM, Sunday afternoon, March 2, Sludge Diet will be screened at: the Wellington Public Library (screening co -presented by The Wellington Times) and at The Milford Town Hall. 2 PM, Sunday afternoon, March 9, Sludge Diet will be screened at: The Demorestville Town Hall and the North same in France.
