|The South Marysburgh Mirror St. Philip’s Roots ‘n Wings Caring for God's Holy Creation April is a month which provides many opportunities for celebrating the earth. Earth Day is April 22. People around the world will focus on how to take better care of the planet. April 20 there will be a tour of green homes in the county. April 26 county residents will participate in the an- nual Trash Bash. On the church calendar April 20 is Earth Sunday. At St. Philip's we are going to use this opportunity to celebrate too! We are having a special service to focus on caring for creation. Our lunch after the service will be as close to a 100 Mile Lunch as we can make it in April. There will be a Fair Trade display. Dorothy Hector will be our guest speak- er. She has worked around the world with the World Food Program. The service begins at 10 am on this special Sun- day. Everyone is welcome. We all share this beautiful world God has given us. Let us find ways together to take better care of it that all may share the good things he provides. May we consider and act upon the words of the Columbian Mission prayer: God our Creator You have given us the earth, the sky and the seas. Show us the way to care for the earth, not just today but for ages to come. Let no plan or work of ours damage or destroy St: Philep’y ACW YARD & RUMMAGE SALE SATURDAY MAY 3®° 2008 AT ST.
