Mar 12 at 1:30pm. President Sandra Emlaw opened with this thought - Courtesy is like the air in tires - it doesn't cost any- thing but it makes travelling so much easier. UCW purpose, hymn and Lord's prayer followed. Alice Miller's devotional was taken from Mathew 25 verses 35 to 40, keeping in mind the things we can do to follow Jesus' example. Twelve mem- bers answered roll call with a limerick, short story or verse. Twelve sick calls were made and one get well card sent. A thank you note was received from Murray and Leona Head for catering their fiftieth anniversary. Coming Events - Wed, April 23 at 7pm - South Bay United Church is hosting a drive-wise program by Kim Guthne. Light lunch to follow and everyone is invited to ct Spring Fling will be held at Picton United Church on on Y May 7. Registration begins at 9am. Lunch is $8.0 Mark Wed Oct Ist on your calendar for the Fall Rally at Pic- ton United Church. Our collection was taken and dedicated. Carolyn Bames' program was interesting information on the banding of various birds at Prince Edward Point, spring and fall. Most of the work is done by volunteers with only the bird bander receiving pay for his services. Marg Crouse tested our knowledge of local people and points of interest in the coun- ty.
