|The South Marysburgh Mirror Milford Community | Friendship Circle § Marg Purcell graciously opened her home for our meeting on Thursday, June 5 at 1:30pm. In the absence of our president Mary Creasy, she also capably chaired the meeting. Our opening gem - From the seeds of our mis- takes, grow the fruits of our wisdom and judgment. Marg Purcell also had our Thought for the Day which advised us to keep smiling and don't let upsets get us down. In the absence of secretary Marge, Brenda Linne- man read the minutes of our May meeting which were pro- claimed acceptable. Six members answered roll call by giving their idea of a perfect wedding. Answers - none, outside by the water, one that will last. Thank you's were received from Don and Bill Creasy for get well cards received. Treasurer Wilma Creasy brought us up to date on our finances. Milford 4H sent a thank you card, signed by all members, for our monetary donation. Our usual cheque is to be given to Milford Fair Board. A joke or two brought our meeting to a close after which refreshments and a social time were enjoyed by all. Wilma thanked our hostess Marg for welcoming us to her home.
