ls |, The South Marysburgh Mirror] What Do? = - from page 6 GIANT TRICYCLES While tricycles are associated with school days, the ones at Milford Fair won't be (unless you were held back in the same grade for a decade or so). These are adult-sized tricycles, and they will be used in a three-wheel version of a Formula One race. If you are nostalgic about your tricycle and up for a bit of competitive fun, adult tricycle races will be held dur- ing the day, location to be determined. We hear from those who've done it that this can result in some pretty interesting situations, and some very funny things going on. If the location ends up being the ball diamond, it may provide an opportunity for someone to practice applying the occasional Band- Aid as well. Just like they did when you fell while you were running at school. MEMORIES OF RED GREEN When we mention Red Green there are three kinds of reactions. Those who knew and loved the televi- sion series, those who knew and hated the television series, and those who don't have the faintest idea of what we are writing about. For Red Green fans we are offering another contest. Anyone who knows the program knows that the fictional Red Green was most famous for use duct tape for everything from repairs to, one case, duct taping two old cars togeth- er and driving them away. We are delighted to be having a duct tape sculpture contest, for High School kids and adults. Let your imagination run wild, cre- ate a duct tape sculpture that Red Green would ad- mire, and enter in the fair. There are space limita- tions, though. I wouldn't recommend duct-taping two cars together. Maybe two adult tricycles, though. By the way there are no particular rules as to what to sculpt, so let's make one up. Anything goes, from duct-taped eyeglasses to an invention you might want to patent.
