4 Deadline for next issue of Mirror 2 July Softball for Fun Have you been seeing lights at the Ball Diamond of late and wondered who would venture out on those near frosty evenings to play a sport that is supposed to be a game of summer? Well wonder nc more, those are teams from Church League, the Milford Ladies and Minor Ball Squirts, playing from Monday to Thursday. Games start at 7 p.m. and are over by 11. The Church League boasts three teams from this community, Cherry Valley United, South Bay United and the Parish of Marysburgh. The games are fun to watch, and the players appreciate the support from the stands, so come a cheer your favourite team. It is our sports leagues, our church suppers, our com- munity groups, our activeties that bring us together and give us the opportunity to share news, laugh with and cheer for each other and yes, enjoy some friendly competition, that pull us together as a community. The more time we spend together, the harder we are to puil apart., so support your community, come out to its events.
