6 Deadline for "Mirror" September 28 By now your are all aware that Milford Fair is Saturday, September the 18th. You have picked up your copy of the prize list and have pre-registered and written down your exhibitor's number. If you haven't, the lists and forms are in Hicks' General Store in Milford, so pick one up. You are being asked to bring in your exhibits that won't be damaged by sitting overnight, on Friday evening. This nage will relieve sore of the rush that tends to occur at 10am on Fair morning. The two categories that might suffer from an overnight on display, are the flowers and the baking (we have mice), and perhaps some vegetable exhibits, but other than those, most displays would be quite safely left there. It is not recommended that a valuable collection be left overnight, as this could prove too much of a temptation. Don't forget the Kite Contest, or the Cog or Cat Show.
