This is a wheelchair accessible facility and home in Kingston where parents and siblings can stay to be near their child who is a patient at Hotel Dieu Hospital and Kingston General Hospital. Daily accommodation for 10 families at Almost Home makes it easy for parents to maintain their bedside vigil. Children attending clinics have a place to go between appointments or to stay overnight. Margaret Purcell thanked Sharlene for her informative talk and presented her with a wedge of cheese. During the lunch time the members decided to give a $100.00 donation for Almost Home, which Sharlene graciously accepted and thanked the Circle ladies.
