a -------- ni | | Thy ATTENTION: ALL MOMS RE: GUIDING NEWS As many of you already know, Guiding is alive and well in this community. Guiding is open to all girls and women, regardless of race, religion or financial background. This organization is the largest of its kind in all the world, involving girls and women from 136 countries. Guiding allows us to broaden our horizons through new activities, make new friends and meet new challenges. As a young member, girls are able to develop self esteem, self confidence, learn how to take care of the environment, become good citizens through community service and most important - HAVE FUN!!! As leaders, we share some of the same rewards as the girls and also develop skills through various exper- iences that can help in both our personal life and our careers. Skills are developed in leadership. goal-setting, and community service, and we encounter many opp- ortunities for personal growth and outdoor recreational activities. And lets not forget, we have fun too!!! Currently in this community we have Sparks (5 full time jobs. we need one more leader.
