More than 30 children (aged 8 and up) teens and adults are needed to shriek and groan, share tears and laughter in the haunting of Mount Tabor Playhouse this fall. Auditions will be held on Thursday August 31st and Friday September 1st and the following Thursday and Friday, September 7th and 8th. The Canterville Ghost concerns Sir Simon de Canterville who murdered his wife in the late 1800s and is doomed to haunt Canterville Chase until a prophesy is fulfilled. An upstart family decides to purchase the Chase and move in. Directing the production is Alan Hazell, who led the children's creative drama workshop during the summer. He will be assisted by Pat Larkin who also worked with the workshop after completing a successful run in the title role of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat' in the spring. Show dates are the weekend preceding and the weekend following Halloween - Oct. 27-29 and Nov. 3-5.
