We were thanked by Effie Ross and Jean Burrows for remembrances when they were all. Thank you cards were received for donations to the Mariner's Park and Diabetes Association. Plans for Milford Fair float were finalized and duties assigned for this and selling tickets on our quilt. Our members were reminded that everyone is to bring items for the food table, craft table, touch and take, white elephant and garden produce. We will have a draw for a beautiful hand knit sweater and for the quilt we have been selling tickets on all year. The circle ladies are requested to support the Terry Fox run from South Marysburgh school on Friday, Septem- ber 22nd, at 1:30 p.m. by either walking or making a monetary confribution. It was moved by Jean Burrows and seconded by Eleanor Forbes that we give a $50.00 donation from the Circle and all were in favour. Milford Friendship Circle has reserved a table at the Craft Show at the Legion on November 4th. you haven't got your Christmas shopping done, now would be a good time to do it. The meeting was closed with humorous readings by Marg Crouse and Mary Creasy. Eleanor Forbes, Marg Crouse and Alice Miller put the finishing touches on by serving a delicious lunch, thanked by Marge Drury.
