Christmas J in Milford A great success! Thanks to the over 100 persons who attended our first Christmas Celebration. It was truly a wonderful evening with the lighting of our very own tree right in the middle of town. Carolling led by Monica Alyea, our new councillor for South Marysburgh, delicious refreshment at St. Philips Church and the exciting horse and wagon rides by Blaine Way compliments of St. Philips Church. We sang our way all around Milford. Three large boxes of canned foods were collected that evening and delivered to the Salvation Army. ' Many individuals made this special evening possible: Mummers, Pete & Nancy Fleck , Sid & Marge Drury graciously made monetary contributions that made the purchase of the tree possible. My personal horticultural advisor, Ron Dubyk arranged and picked up the beautiful tree from Connon Nurseries in Trenton. Leon McConnell single-handedly dug the immense hole and assisted with the stringing of lights and arranging for a new electrical outlet. Ron Dubyk, Matt Dubyk, Bob Spires, Bruce #.-. | Dowdell, who planted the tree. Sherry McPeak and the Post Office for agreeing to let us plant and use electricity from the Post Office.
