Schubert Mass - Continued from page 1 songs and worked as a teacher at elementary school. Schubert was familiar with the rich heritage of folk songs in Austria, as well as the great orchestral, choral , and operatic traditions of his home city. For this concert, director Greg Garrett has included with the Mass in G a number of folk songs and some orchestral pieces by Bach and Mozart to round out a concert that will appeal toa varied audience. Command Performance has performed in the County for over 12 years. The County Consort formed last year to accompany the production of Pirates of Penzance by the County Theatre Group. This concert marks the first time that Command Performance and The County Consort have performed together. The concert by Command Performance and The County Consort will take place at 2pm on Sunday, April 29. Admission: $10 adults, $6 students, tickets available at the door.
