CET MAD! They're back! The Madwomen of Marysburgh will bring their own particular brand of musical madness to Mount Tabor Playhouse in a special per formance on December 29th, starting at 8 p.m. "It's sort of an apres Christmas, ante New Year's concert," says storyteller Janet Kellough, producer of the show. "We figured everybody will be tired of Christmas stuff by then, and will be looking for something to do that weekend. A lot of people may still have company, and this would be a great show to bring them to." Madwoman Emily Fennell will be back in the County for Christmas, and will join Kellough, Jeanette Arsenault, Suzanne Pasternak and Lenni Stewart Wells on stage for an evening of incredible harmonies and fun stories. "It's been a couple of years since we had all the Madwomen on stage at the same time," Kellough says. "One of the things that's great about the Madwomen show is that everybody shows up with new material each time, and we get to do something new." She promises, however, that some of the trademark Madwomen numbers like "The Rose" will stay in the set list. "The only thing for sure that we are not doing is Christmas music. By then everybody will have heard enough Christmas carols to last until next year." She also points out that Madwomen tickets would make great stocking stuffers. "Everybody has somebody they can never think of a gift for. I'd like to humbly suggest that a ticket or two would be an appropriate gift for anyone." Tickets are $15 and are available at Books on the Bay, or by calling 476-3988. South Bay U.C.W. The ladies of South Bay U.C.W. met at the church hall at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, November 14th.
