Thank you for all the interest about Newton, Whitty and Samantha, the kitty family Des featured in a recent Mirror. Samantha now lives with Don and Joan Sarley on East Lake Road. The other two have gone back to Kingston where they came from and are living with Becky Emlaw and Chris MacKay. I was very happy to hear about the homes they have! I also want to thank Carmen King in the village who kindly took care of these guys for two months while we tried to find homes. She's a hero in the animal world! - Emily Fennell RRSP Season - Continued from page 14 looking after your precious hard earned money (Portfolio) and is showing reasonable rates of return, year on year, well and good. You will not be thinking about "doing anything about your RRSP" because your investment advisor will already have arranged that you invest on a monthly basis throughout the year. (sometimes known as "Dollar Cost Averaging") Good advice! For those of us who have been filled with good intentions to do this but have not yet got round to it I suggest that we start reading, surfing the Net and talking to anyone who is competent to provide advice on the subject. (Yellow Pages will give you a place to start.) Remember, most if not all investment advisors will provide a free consultation to discuss your needs and goals. Compare if you can. But please do not leave it to the last moment. Good planning and decisions are never made in a hurry. The foregoing has not even skimmed the surface of this subject of effective investing and to do so would take several books. This is why you need the very best advice available. If you lack the knowledge, don't risk your future. Learn from my mistakes! Find the right gestions to ask and then talk to an expert or two. Happy RRSP Season. - Pastor Ian. Tabor-Eb'd - Continued from page 2 amazing things seem to happen on that stage! Given the awkwardness of new relationships, we're bringing in a few "friends" to help the new lovers with the scene - Alex and Wes Hicks, Billy Ostrander and Willy Walker, Kim Inch, Don Hinde, Mark Despault and several others. And you have a special invitation, the folks of this township who've known for a long time (or picked up in a short time, if you just recently moved here) that Mount Tabor is a unique feature of this munici- pality - and worthy of such a love affair with its govern- ing Council! Hope to see you there - Sunday, February 3, 2:00 p.m. It's a 'Pay what you can/Donations to fix up the playhouse' event. - Monica Alyea Councillor, South Marysburgh P.S. You may want to bring a few extra pennies. We're auctioning off a pound of pre-fire Black River Cheese that has been aging in my fridge for several months!
