It appears that one cannot discover the profile of this private web site until after registration. Do you know who they are ? I ask this because everything important usually becomes political. I think that it would be a shame if the community became divided when several people had their own web site and wanted to be known as THE Milford web site. I have no right to make any suggestions to a private site, but I would probably be interested in registering if most of the links were non-commercial and dedicated to: -- community organizing. -- free self help topics. -- A directory of local email and web page addresses to en- able the infrastructure for personal communications in an increasingly impersonal world. I am pleased to see that someone has started a local web site for the community. I am sure that visitors will not realize and give the credit which is deserved. I have little doubt that it will be a thankless chore to maintain. If you know the site owner's name, so that I can decide whether I wish to register, please reply. Thank you, ...John Gilbert Editor's Note: Peter Allen is the sole registered owner of the milford on.ca web site. His expressed intention is to provide a me- dium for communication in the area. At his suggestion the on-line version of the South Marysburgh Mirror was added lo the content. Participation in expanding the features and consiructive uses of the site by any parties living in or in- volved with the area would be welcomed.
