South Bay U.C.W. met at the church hall on Wednesday March 13th, at 1:30 p.m. resident Brenda Minaker opened with this thought - I've learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel. RRO RN ANA W The Meeting proceeded with our theme hymn, purpose and The Lord's prayer. Eleanor Rorabeck's devotional was about springtime - The Lord who brings flowers, etc. in the Spring prepares us for a new awakening. Secretary Marge Drury read the minutes of the February Meeting which were approved. Seventeen members answered roll call with 18 sick calls being made. A thank you was received from St. Phillip's Anglican Church thanking us for our participation in The World Day of Prayer. Next year is our turn. Easter Sunrise Service will be held at Little Bluff on Easter Sunday at 6:00 a.m. U.C.W. will provide a light breakfast afterward. Cards were sent to different people in our community by Donna Loney. Rev. Ed and Marilyn Schamerhommn wish to donate special flowers in memory of members of their family for Easter Sunday. Tuesday, April 2nd has been set for clean-up at the church beginning at 9:00 a.m. Bring your lunch. Marilyn Schamerhorn and Freda Rowley will talk about Camp Quin-Mo-Lac and take devotional for our April Meeting. Maureen Rudd's program talked about Daffodils. President Brenda closed the Meeting proper with prayer. Marge Drury's contest was questions that had to be answered from the word "Shamrock" and was won by Skip McCormack. Brenda Minaker and Ena Bosma furnished a lovely lunch and were thanked by Sandra Emlaw.
