Sept. 26, 2002, many dedicated Library volunteers were honoured at a reception hosted by the Board of the County of Prince Edward Library. The gathering took place at the Bloomfield Town Hall. Speakers included Library Board Chair, lan Balsillie, MPP Ernie Parsons and Terry Sarazen of the Southern Ontario Library System. I would like to thank the following volunteers for their continued support and generosity of time and efforts, on behalf of the Ann Farwell Library. Every time they read a book participants got to post a sticker with the title, a program encouraging young readers. Other top readers were Emma and Elliott Windfield, and each winner got a book as a prize, with grand prize winner Brianna Logan receiving a portable radio as well.
