"Vanishing Legacy" is a multi-media presentation tracing the history of the original families in South Marysburgh from 1784 to the present and their unique relationship to Lake Ontario. Suzanne Pasternak has devoted over 15 years researching the rich marine history in the area. This research has - resulted in two award winning television documen- taries and two historical folk operas. "This presen- tation will combine a slide show, lecture and mu- sic," says Pasternak. "I received a grant from the Prince Edward County Community Development Corporation three years ago to develop this lecture and present it to every school in Prince Edward County. Ihave a knack for turning history into something interesting and entertaining. Plus, folks get to dine on my famous braised short ribs before the lecture!" says Suzanne.
