Hall on Wednesday, March 19th at 1:50 p.m. Vice President Margaret Crouse opened with a - reading "Walk by Faith, Not Sight", followed by our theme hymn, purpose and the Lord's Prayer. Maureen Rudd's devotional, taken from Ruth 1 verses 19-22 and Isiah 29, verses 13-16 was about the Lenten Journey. This isthe time to reflect on our life and the purpose of it. Fourteen members answered roll call with 12 sick calls being made. } Secretary Maureen Rudd presented the minutes of the February Meeting which were received as read Card Secretary Donna Loney sent 5 get well cards. There will be a meeting of the Belleville Presbyte- rial on Thursday, May 8th, at Westminster United Church. - The ladies of the U.C.W. thought it would be a good idea to support the Easter Parade on Saturday April 15th, 11:00 a.m. from Milford Town Hall to Mount Tabor. So ladies bring your hats and decorating materials to our next meeting so we can get all spiffed up for the parade which incidentally is sponsored by the Milford Bloomers. We were treated to 2 humourous readings - Mary Crouse's "The Joys of Parenthood Never End and Aging Wives (and how one husband copes) by Marge Drury. The Meeting proper closed with prayer. : Marge Drury teased our capabilities with two con- tests for Joyce Minaker in her absence. No one really won as it was a challenge to come up with our own answers.
