RP Pr rr ove PH A A A) Milford oY Community Lis Friendship Circle The ladies met at the home of Margaret Crouse (instead of Barb Balsillie's who was ill - hope you're soon feel- ing better Barb) on Thursday April 10th, at 12:30 p.m. Mary Creasy had Thought For The Day and ended with this - Yesterday is History Tomorrow is a Mystery Today is a Gift That's why it's called the present. Live and savour every moment. This is not a dress rehearsal. Secretary Alice Miller read the minutes of the February and March Meetings (as she has been known to forget to bring the minute book). Ten members answered roll call with some good, clean, funny jokes. Our finances were reported by Treasurer Wilma Creasy including a cheque from our old faithful Barb Campbell for quilting her many quilts. Card Secretary Marge Drury sent a thinking of you card and 2 sympathy cards. As usual we gave a donation to the 4H Club for taking our place on County Rd. 17 for the Trash Bash. We received thank yous from Marg Crouse, Isabelle Dey and Barb Campbell. Our group was urged to show our support to the Mil- ford Bloomers by participating in the Easter Parade on Saturday, April 19th, at 11:00 am. The ladies brought home baking, etc. which was dis- tributed by silent auction. Our hostess, Margaret plied us with a delicious lunch and was thanked by Wilma Creasy. - Alice Miller Press Reporter Full Selection of FRAMES SUNGLASSES CONTACT LENSES Eye Exams Arranged Lab on Premises CANN-WOOD OPTICAL 297 Main St. Picton 476-1655 Gift Certificates Available Happy Mother 5 Pat's Jams Jam House now open!
