After July 1%, children are invited to drop into the nearest branch of the library to pick up their poster and the logbook they will need to keep track of their sum- mer reading. They can also collect a new sticker to add to their poster with each library visit. Special events in July include "Kids in the Castle," a medieval times program; "Dinosaurs Rock," where chil- dren can journey through the mists of time with games, crafts and puzzles on a dinosaur theme; and "Dive with Diana," all about deep sea diving. As well, there will be a Teddy Bears Picnic, some Movie Madness and the all-time favorite, Library Bingo. Space is often limited for these events. Please pre- register to ensure a place. Not all events are available in all branches, so drop in to the library and pick up a calendar. The calendar is also available on the library's website, www .peclibrary.org. Please watch this newspaper for the special events coming to the library in August. Letters to the editor are welcome.
