Quinte Conservation's summer day camp staft are busy preparing fun activities for the conservation camp offered at Macaulay Mountain Conservation Area, 224 County Road 8 on the outskirts of Picton and at Quinte Conservation Area near Belleville. Conservation Camps offer children 7 to 13 the opportunity to have fun in the great outdoors and learn about nature through hands-on activities, games, arts and crafts and interesting guest speakers. . Registration has begun and is going well with some weeks almost full at Macaulay Mountain Conser- vation Area. Of Pictures, Posters, Cans, Barrels, Parades and the Milford Fair! Ever since April members of the Milford Fair Board have been getting ready for the September 13 Milford Fair, We're all looking forward to seeing you, your family and friends there -- and there's already lots to let you know about as things "heat up' over the summer . . . for the Fair Board and for everyone else! Pictures and Posters While the school children look forward to summer as school draws to an end, lots of them are looking further, toward the Milford Fair. This time they are drawing as a means to an end. and that's to picture how they think of the Fair and what they like about it. As in the past, there have been lots of wonderful drawings, many of which will be used as posters advertising the Fair, and one of which will be used as the cover for the Fair booklet. Look for both the posters and the booklet over the next few weeks. In the "7 meantime, please join us in congratulating this year's prize- winners.
