Marge Drury's Thought For The Day was entitled "My Brush with Tooth Paste." In the absence of our secretary Gillian Parker, press re- porter Alice Miller gave a b rief run-down of our previ- ous Meeting. Seven members reported to whom they had sent their valentine cards - to sick and shut-ins or whoever they thought merited one. Marg Crouse reprted sending 2 get well cards, and 6 sympathy cards to people in the area. Treasurer Wilma Creasy reported the receipts received for our donations to various organizations, monies re- ceived and bills paid. We are pleased and proud to report that we made 12 quilts on February 3rd at the Town Hall to go to Salva- tion Army and the homeless. Our ladies moved that we ask 4H to do trash bash for us and give them a donation in support of this group. President Mary closed the Meeting with a humorous reading entitled "Dear Ma and Pa." The ladies then enjoyed a social time along with the de- licious lunch provided by Margaret who was thanked by Merle Evans. - Alice Miller Press reporter NOTICE If anyone has some old blankets or flannel- ette sheets that they no longer need, Mil- ford Friendship ladies could use them. We put them in as fillers in the quilts we make for the homeless.
