Inspired by the practices of old, the choir of South and Cherry Valley United Church under the direction of Heather King and organist Verna Hirtz sought to re-institute the tradition of Christmas Music in the south end. This year the tradition continues with two performances on Sunday December 12th, 2004 (snow date December 19th). Two concerts are planned - 2 PM at Cherry Valley United Church and 7:30 at South Bay United Church. The choir is very grateful for the additional members who will join them for this event from the lo- cal community and from Cressy and Glenora. A con- cert of secular and traditional Christmas music is planned with special guests Bev Gorsline, Janice Oren- stein, Suzanne Pasternak, and Kim Inch.
