Bull 0 Worx Hardwood and Softwood Floors The day camp runs in eight weekly sessions ending August 26. Registration is limited to 20 children per week, with three leaders. "Our first week starts Monday, July 4 and there are still places available in most weeks," says Amy Dickens, Quinte Conservation's Conservation Camp Coordinator. This summer, registration can be made on-line at www.quinteconservation.ca . Those without access to the Internet may call Dickens for assistance and more informa- tion at 613-476-7408 or visit Macaulay Mountain and meet the leaders after June 23. Dickens advises calling first how- ever, as the leaders may be out planning activities or taking part in training off site. Also new this year, Conservation Camp will be us- ing the new covered structure at the conservation area in- stalled by the Prince Edward Squadron 851, Royal Cana- dian Air Cadets. "This very large covered space will be ideal, espe- cially on rainy days, and we thank the Air Cadets for shar- ing this excellent facility with Conservation Camp," says Dickens. Conservation Camp at Macaulay Mountain is supported by the Rotary Club of Picton. Student leader wages are subsi- dized through the federal Summer Career Placement Pro- gram and provincial Job Connect program. Support is also received from Computers for Schools.
