29 Barclay Robert Crozier ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ In Loving Memory Of a Very Special HUSBAND on His 80th Birthday When God was making husbands as far as I can see, He made a special soulmate especially for me. He made a perfect gentleman, compassionate and kind. With more love and affection than you could ever wish to find. He gave my darling husband a heart of solid gold. He gave me wonderful memories only my heart can hold. He was someone I could talk to that no one can replace. He was someone I could laugh with till tears ran down my face. Next time we meet will be at Heavens door. When I see you standing there I wont cry anymore. I will put my arms around you and kiss your smiling face. Then the pieces of my broken heart will fall back into place. Love And Miss You So Much x - Betty CLARKE, Allan ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ In loving memory of a dear husband and father Allan Clarkes who passed away suddenly at Lakeridge Hospital, Bowmanville January 16, 1962. Dearly loved and always remembered by wife Etelka (deceased August 7, 2014) and son James In Loving Memory of Giuseppina Romano March 20, 1934 - January 18, 2021 ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ It's been a year since we lost you, those we love we never lose for always they will be Loved, Remembered, Treasured and always in our memory. Lovingly remembered by the Romano Family KURZ, Karl-Heinz 1932-2021 ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ On the one year, anniversary of the death of our Dad. In remembrance of a proud Canadian citizen that fled from post war east Germany to create a wonderful home, life and business for his family in Myrtle Station, Ontario. Karl arrived in the port of Halifax, NS, 1961, with a suitcase in one hand and his learned trade of master butcher and sausage maker in the other hand. Transferring to Ottawa a Jewish family opened up their hearts and deli and offered Dad work for a year to become established in his new country. What a blessing they were to him, and we thank them for their love, caring and kindness, considering this post war era. A year later in Toronto, Bitner Meats hired him as a butcher and sausage maker. During this time, he took ESL classes at Central Commerce High School in Toronto to learn his new language. In 1965 he went out on his own and started not one but two delis in Toronto. Dad said he was privileged to have the opportunities that Canada offered him to become a businessman. We have fond memories of our dad teaching us how to make hams, pepperonis and salamis for Christmas and Easter for many in Durham Region and across Ontario. When times were tough, Dad offered specials in the three Cold Cut Centers located in Port Perry, Oshawa and Whitby "buy one pound and get a second pound of cold cuts for free". His motto to us "we are not the biggest but the best". He was proud of the quality of meats he crafted with recipes from the old country. He went on to run a successful business in Myrtle Station, Durham Region for over 40 years with his federally inspected meat processing plant. Karl in his 7th decade was diagnosed with Lewy Body Dementia. December 2020, he contracted COVID-19 in a long-term care residence/retirement home in Scarborough, survived it only to die from secondary swallowing complications at Lakeridge Health Oshawa COVID-19 floor. It is surreal how life brought him into a world war, and he left in this new age COVID world war of 2020-22. You are greatly missed by many you mentored and most of all us who Love you. In memory of our Dad Karl-Heinz Kurz please donate to Lewy Body Dementia research McMaster University, or the GAINs clinic at Lakeridge Health Oshawa. Thank you all those individuals and professionals who cared for Dad. Your loving wife Pamela, daughter Kayla and family My Beautiful Daughter on her 60th Birthday Margo Mary Szewczyk-Hannah January 18, 1962 - October 21, 2011 ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ If roses grow in Heaven Lord, Please pick a bunch for me. Place them in my daughters arms, And tell her they're from me. Tell her I love her and miss her, And when she turns to smile, Place a kiss upon her cheek and hold her for awhile. Because remembering her is easy, I do it everyday. But there is an ache within my heart that will never go away. Gone but not forgotten. My days will pass and turn into years....but I will still remember you Shirley with silent tears. Missing you Mom and appreciating the lessons you taught us to always value and celebrate family. Love Santo, Paige, Tina, Al and families ANNOUNCEMENTS Always so good, unselfi sh and kind, none on this earth your equal I'll fi nd. Honourable and true in all your ways, loving and faithful to the end of your days, honest and liberal, ever upright, just in your judgment, always right; loved by your friends and all whom you knew, one in a million, that person was you. Your memory is as dear today, as in the hour you passed away. Gone is the face we loved so dear, silent is the voice we loved to hear; too far away for sight or speech, but not too far for thought to reach, sweet to remember you who once was here, and who, though absent, is just as dear.
