There are lots of great events happening in Dur- ham this weekend, here are a few to check out. DRIFTWOOD THEATRE -- BARD'S BUS TOUR • Aug. 14 at 7:30 p.m. • Scugog Shores Muse- um, 16210 Island Rd., Port Perry Driftwood Theatre is back in Durham with an outdoor, pay-what-you-can live theatre event. This year the Bard's Bus Tour is presenting "King Henry Five." The show is described as "an ambitious adaptation of three Shakespeare plays" ("Henry IV, Parts 1 and 2," "Henry V" ) and a "powerful story about community, the families we inherit and those we choose, and the legacies we leave behind." The play is set against the backdrop of a contemporary patio bar, and features a blend of music, puppetry and Shakespeare's poetry. OSHAWA ROTARY RIBFEST • Aug. 12 to 14 • Lakeview Park, 55 Lakeview Park Ave., Oshawa The 21st annual Oshawa Rotary Ribfest is back from Aug. 12 to 14. Ribbers include: Hawgs Gone Wild BBQ, Fat Boys BBQ, Camp 31 BBQ, Billy Bones BBQ, Silver Bullet BBQ and Sticky Fingers BBQ. Event includes a full lineup of live entertainment. Ribfest runs from noon to 11 p.m. on Friday; 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturday; and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday. FAMILY SHOWS AT BROOKS FARMS Aug. 13 and 14 Brooks Farms, 122 Ashworth Rd., Mount Albert Brooks Farms has two family shows happening this weekend. On Aug. 13, Coach Steve hosts a silly, interactive all-ages magic show at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. On Aug. 14 Ben Burland's amazing circus stunts runs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The farm features a children's playland, pick-your-own fruits and vegetables, as well as a farm market and café. TANK SATURDAY -- BLITZKRIEG! Aug. 13 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Ontario Regiment Museum, 1000 Stevenson Rd., Oshawa Admission includes access to the museum, which houses artifacts, medals, weapons and uniforms. The museum covers more than 150 years of military history and houses the Military Vehicle Conservation Centre with more than 60 vehicles and tanks on display. A live vehicle demonstration takes place at 1 p.m. Admission is $15 for adults, $10 for seniors and students, and $5 for children under 12. PINGLE'S FARM SUNFLOWER EXPERIENCE Aug. 13 and 14 1805 Taunton Rd., Hampton The annual sunflower experience at Pingle's Farm Market opens this weekend. The 6.5-acre sunflower field includes more than 100,000 sunflowers. In addition to classic yellow sunflowers, Pingle's has more than 20 other varieties as well as a new section of the field dedicated to wildflowers.
