Nour Marakah, 34, was convicted in an armed home invasion in York region in 2019. He was released by the courts while awaiting sentencing. York Regional Police said Marakah was placed on several conditions, including house arrest, and he had to wear a GPS ankle bracelet at all times. On Dec. 3, Marakah removed the ankle bracelet and left his Whitby residence, police said. He is wanted on a charge of failing to comply with a judicial release order. He's described as five feet nine inches (1.75 metres) tall, 210 pounds (95.25 kilograms), with long black hair. York police said he is considered armed and dangerous, and if seen, he shouldn't be approached. Instead, people should call police immediately. The OPP's Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement (R.O.P.E.) Squad is looking for Oluwaseum Ojo, 25. The OPP said he has breached statutory release. Ojo is described as Black, five-feet 10-inches (1.7 metres) tall, weighing 160 pounds (72.5 kilograms), with black hair and brown eyes. He's currently serving a six-year seven-month and 13-day sentence for robbery, discharging a firearm, possession of a pro- hibited/restricted firearm with ammunition, possession of a firearm knowing its unauthorized, unauthorized possession of a firearm in a motor vehicle, attempting an indictable offence and faiingl to comply with a probation order. He is known to frequent the Courtice, Barrie, Toronto and Cobourg areas.
