Notes: Mary A. Cowlin, 79, of Crystal Lake, died Monday, April 5, 2004, at her home. She was born Jan. 29, 1925, in Niagara Falls, N.Y., to Robert and Marion (Dibble) Horrigan, and was adopted by her mother's second husband, Joseph Ayers. She married Henry L. Cowlin on Sept. 22, 1951, in Niagara Falls. Survivors include her husband, of Crystal Lake and six children. The Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 7, at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 451 W. Terra Cotta Ave., Crystal Lake. Interment will be in Crystal Lake Union Cemetery.
