Notes: Richard N. "Dick" Donkel, 72, of Algonquin, died Thursday, April 29, 2004, at his home. He was born Feb. 19, 1932, in Chicago, to Peter John and Ruth (Hermann) Donkel. Survivors include his wife, Lo Ann (Rosenthal) Donkel; three sons, Jeff (Carmen) of Huntington Beach, Calif., Mark (Alyssa) of Eugene, Ore., and Tom (Gaylia) of Cary; two daughters Peggy Donkel of Bensenville and Andrea Donkel (Scott Touman) of Algonquin. Entombment will be in Windridge Cemetery Mausoleum in Cary.
