Notes: Alma C. Freund, 89, of Johnsburg, died Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2005, at Crystal Pines Nursing Center in Crystal Lake. She was born Jan. 10, 1916, in Johnsburg, to John M. and Elizabeth (Thelen) Schmitt. On Aug. 6, 1941, she married Alvin J. Freund at St. John the Baptist Church in Johnsburg.
