Notes: Algonquin - Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Barrett celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary with an open house Sunday, May 8, hosted by their daughter, Dee. Assisting with the festivities were Mrs. Alvin Bredthauer, sister of Mrs. Barrett, and her daughters, Phyllis and Sandra Bredthauer of Elgin, and Mrs. Gene Colbert, Algonquin. Mrs. Ethel Eyerly of Algonquin and Mrs. Charlotte Barrett of Elgin, mothers of the honored couples, registered the guests.
