- Mary R. (née Franch) Bergman, of Palatine, was born Feb. 23, 1920, in Melrose Park. She died April 25 at Good Shepherd Hospital, Barrington. Funeral Mass was celebrated April 28 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Cary, Ill.
