- Virginia "Ginny" Bauman, 80, of Marengo, died June 5, 2005, at OSF St. Anthony Hospital in Rockford. She was born June 30, 1924, in Elgin, to Arthur and Louise (Larson) Hoffman. On Oct. 2, 1948, she married Harold Bauman. Interment will be in Marengo City Cemetery.
