Notes: Lorraine D. Smith, 74, of Algonquin Shores, died June 8, 2005, at Memorial Medical Center in Woodstock. She was born Nov. 20, 1930, to Richard and Dorothy (Greeley) Almquist. On Feb. 14, 1949, she married Henry J. Smith. She was preceded in death by her husband, on March 11, 1976. Survivors include six sons, Allen (Sally) of Oxford, Ala., Bradford (Adele) of Middleburg, Fla., Michael and Richard, both of Algonquin, Dennis (Robin) of Lake in the Hills, and Stacy of Tupelo, Miss.; and 11 grandchildren, Joshua, Christopher, Derric, Jacob, Patrick, Adam, Dylan, Caitlyn and Julia Smith, Stacey Morrison, and Naomi Moore. Service at Wait-Ross-Allanson Funeral and Cremation Services Chapel, Algonquin.
