Notes: Mary Joan Sather, 81, of Crystal Lake, died June 8, 2005, at her home in the presence of her family. She was born Jan. 26, 1924, in Chicago, to Michael and Esther (Hawkins) Smith. On Valentine's Day 1953, she married Melvin Sather at St. Andrew's Church in Chicago. Interment will be in Windridge Memorial Park.
