Notes: Rosemary S. (née Schafehen) Zander, 83, formerly of Algonquin, died July 6 at her residence in Rockford, Ill. She was born Oct. 5, 1921, in Wilmette, Ill., to Peter J. and Rose (née Rosebauer) Schafehen. She is survived by her husband, Arthur E. Zander, whom she married on July 10, 1945; two children, Jeffrey E. of Eden Prairie, Minn., Diane (Mike) Parish of Lake in the Hills; and her sister, Bernice Dethloff of Littleton, Colo. She was preceded in death by a brother, John Schafehen; and a sister, Marge Borgel. Services were held July 11 at St. Margaret Mary Church in Algonquin. Burial was in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Northbrook, Ill.
