Notes: Eugene Olsen, 87, formerly of Algonquin, died Monday, May 1, 2006 at Freeport Hospital, Freeport, Ill. He was born in Chicago, Ill., Aug. 25, 1918, to Andrew and Otilla (Zink) Olsen. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Marion Martin.

He is survived by his wife, Olive (Nelsen) Lee, whom he married in 1986; and three sons, Eugene (Sandy), John (Mary), and Edward (Tammy).
