Roland and Sharon Hoffman of Wonder Lake celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Dec. 16, 2011.
They were married Dec. 16, 1961, at St. Cornelius Catholic Church in Chicago. They have three children, Sherri (Tim) White of Virginia, Tom of Wonder Lake and Eric. Article includes wedding and modern day photographs.

They have 10 grandchildren, Ashley and Alayna of Mesa, Ariz., Alyssa of Woodstock, Amyelia of Pennsylvania, Alex, Aric and Adyn of Virginia, and Tom, Austin and Jordan of Cary.

They also have two great-granddaughters, Brielle and Ava Marie of Mesa, Ariz.
